Whether you want to get out in nature and tan your toosh while watching the surf pro’s shred or get your hands dirty helping a good cause we’ve got you covered. For those missing a little taste of home, get some food in your gob that taste just like mumma’s home-cooked goods.
The March swell kicks off with a fading southerly groundswell with light NE winds favouring those beginners and intermediate shredders. Before the NE wind swell pushes through bringing some rain and onshore NE winds. The choppy conditions should see the swell peaking at 4ft and will bring nice punchy waves for those looking for a rainy grovel session.
March is the month to be in Manly; there’s no doubt about that. The Hotel Steyne will be showcasing the punt lord Noa Deans Electric Surfboard Test this month. Noa will be riding a bunch of eclectic surf crafts showing us that he is the best free surfer in the world.
World Surf League is hosting a breakfast at the Novotel Hotel to celebrate Internation Women’s Day, Friday morning the 6th. It’s an epic chance to meet some of the worlds best female surfers.
In the evening The World Food Markets kick off in style with a range of awesome international food accompanied by the live music under the stars. That’ll be taking place on the next 2 Fridays along with a new funk and jazz band each week.
Stoke Beach House welcomes yogis and surfers to get bendy, focus on breathwork and core stability to improve their surfing with some special yoga classes tailored for surfing in our very own yoga studio Monday 9th and Friday 13th, 7 am – 8 am.
The Sydney Surf Pro returns bigger and better than ever from the 9th – 14th with over 200 of the world’s best men’s and women’s surfers competing at Manly.
Drop Festival will be touring alongside the surf pro with Boy & Bear, The Presets, Ball Park Music, Allday, DZ Deathrays, Kita Alexander and Grace playing live sets to keep you boogying.
The Stoke Beach House and Landcare are teaming up to restore the Manly mermaid pools on Sunday 28th. We’ll be putting on our gloves and working with the experts to get rid of evasive plant species to restore the Mermaid pools back to its natural state.
