We love a pub, like any Aussie. Nothing beats a crisp cold bevie and a piping hot chicken parmi any day of the year. If you’re new in Man-town (aka Manly), we’ve got you sorted with some of our fave spots to grab a cold one and reminisce about the good old days!
HOTEL STEYNE
Wander over to The Steyne on Manly Beach front for a solid feed and good drinks. Make sure to head upstairs to their rooftop bar for an epic view of the beach while sipping on some tasty cocktails and watching the sun go down. They have Live Music and DJs all weekend as well as cool events and weekly specials. You might meet some furry friends in the dog-friendly courtyard; watch out they don’t steal your pizza! You can even try your luck at winning the meat raffle.
MANLY WHARF HOTEL
The it spot in Manly, Wharfie, as the locals call it has relaxed vibes. Proving one of the best views in Manly, it overlooks the harbour and is the perfect spot to watch SUP ball or your next sexy nighter coming in from a paddleboard. Great drinks and outdoor pub vibes; watch out for seagulls nipping your chip! Plan to get there early, as the deck area fills up fast, especially after 5pm on a Friday. They have some great weekday food specials but don’t expect to score a cheap drink here, unfortunately. But it’s a small price to pay for the epic atmosphere.
4 PINES BREWERY MANLY
Find Manly local’s favourite for Aussie-made beers and a chill vibe at 4 Pines. They have great live music, cheap weekly deals, and even a Sunday Roast for those missing home. Head up to the second level for a view over the wharf, grab a cold beer and chill out. We recommend snatching up a Brewery Tour on the weekend for the ultimate behind-the-scenes look at how their iconic beer is brewed.
